Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

The role involves working in a dynamic environment with a focus on industrial and commercial electrical systems. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, replacing, and installing industrial maintenance equipment and machinery. The job includes tasks such as breakdown, tear down, staging, setup, assembly, disassembly, and assisting with conveyer systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Additionally, you will contribute to building structures that house watercraft vehicles.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain and repair industrial maintenance equipment and machinery.

+ Perform breakdown, tear down, staging, setup, assembly, and disassembly tasks.

+ Assist with conveyer systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

+ Build structures that house various watercraft vehicles.

+ Troubleshoot and apply mechanical aptitude in tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems.

+ Mechanical aptitude with skills in breakdown, repair, and maintenance.

+ Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a Maintenance Technician.

+ Skills in terminators and mechanics.

Work Environment

Work indoors in a large, brand-new, clean facility at Huntington Ingles. The work schedule is from 6 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with most Saturdays required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
