Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description
This position involves manufacturing stainless steel tanks primarily for the dairy industry, requiring expertise in food-grade or sanitary welds. The role demands proficiency in welding, grinding, fabrication, particularly in TIG welding. You will work mainly with stainless steel and aluminum using Lincoln and Miller welders.
Responsibilities
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum for the production of tanks in various positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead.
+ Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, custom fabricate, or grind materials to meet technical requirements and create a welded final product.
+ Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent issues like overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinking of parts.
+ Read and understand basic prints/drawings.
+ Problem-solve fabrication tasks and perform overhead welding.
Essential Skills
+ 3 years of experience in TIG welding, particularly with stainless steel and aluminum.
+ Proficiency in fitting, MIG welding, and fabrication.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3 years of experience in print reading and fabrication.
+ Capability to get certified in MIG welding in-house.

Work Environment
Work the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 5am-3:30pm, with optional overtime available after training. You can choose to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Fridays usually offering 4-5 hours of voluntary overtime. Enjoy working in a state-of-the-art facility with modern amenities. The PTO structure includes 5 paid vacation days and 3 paid personal days prorated from the start date. After one year, employees receive 2 weeks’ vacation and 3 paid personal days. Enjoy 11 paid holidays, including a paid day off for your birthday. Employees are allowed one unexcused call-in and one note to excuse an unplanned absence per year.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
