    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled HVAC install foreman with commercial experience to add to our team. This role will include leading crews of apprentices on various projects and assisting with installing various HVAC systems. Projects are located in the Grand Rapids and surrounding areas.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead apprentices on various commercial projects.

    + Install HVAC ductwork with precision and expertise.

    + Fabricate and create ductwork on-site according to construction documents.

    + Lead and train team members on job sites.

    + Drive to job sites, potentially up to 40 miles from Grand Rapids.

    + Collaborate with other trades and partners to achieve daily project goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Five plus years of experience in installing HVAC systems.

    + Extensive commercial building experience, spanning at least five years.

    + Demonstrated leadership and training experience on job sites.

    + Comprehensive understanding of project-specific documents, including submittals and installation manuals.

    + Ability to troubleshoot issues on existing equipment.

    + Experience in construction, blueprint reading, mechanical work, and using both hand and power tools.

    Work Environment

     

    This role operates on the 1st shift, generally starting between 6/7 am to 3/4 pm, with 9-10 hour shifts. Start times depend on the assigned project. Projects are construction-based, located in Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids. The work involves conducting installations alongside other trades, as part of a team of 2-10 individuals.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
