    Material Handler/Shipping Clerk

     

    $18/hr

     

    M-F, Some Saturdays

    6:00AM-3:30PM

    We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for building crates, inspecting products, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of inventory within the warehouse.

    Responsibilities

    + Build crates of various dimensions and inspect products inside.

    + Seal crates using nail guns and ensure product numbers are accurate.

    + Load and move inventory throughout the warehouse with a sit-down forklift.

    + Perform physical labor-intensive tasks efficiently.

    + Handle materials effectively and safely.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ Years experience in warehouse roles, preferably in manufacturing environments.

    + Forklift experience

    + Experience in packaging, tape measure, and crating.

    + Strong attention to detail, particularly with SKU numbers and product names.

    + Capability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor-intensive tasks.

    + Proficiency in material handling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Carpentry skills and nail gun knowledge.

    + Skills in electric pallet jack operation, inventory systems, and cycle counts.

    + Auditing and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, data entry, and SAP.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a semi-climate-controlled large warehouse that may become noisy due to machinery and welding.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
