    Job Title: CNC Machinist

     

    Pay/Shift

     

    25-30/hr

     

    1st shift - 6am-4:30pm - M-Th.

    Job Description

    The CNC Machinist will be responsible for machining and manufacturing parts for various projects. This role involves performing CNC machine setups, tooling adjustments, and changeovers, along with operating machines such as the CNC Okuma Mill, CNC Lathe, and CNC Haas Mill. Minor program edits and quality inspections of parts are also required. The role is based in a low-rate production job shop, with tolerances ranging from 0.005 to 0.03 inches.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform 2-3 machine setups per week.

    + Operate CNC Okuma Mill, CNC Lathe, and CNC Haas Mill.

    + Conduct minor program edits and quality inspections of parts.

    + Engage in manual machining when necessary, using a manual mill or lathe.

    + Conduct daily preventative maintenance on machines, including cooling changeovers and greasing.

    + Repair minor mechanical breakdowns.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong knowledge of G code.

    + 2-3 years of CNC machining experience, preferably with CNC Okuma Mills.

    + Experience in CNC setup, adjustments, and tooling changeovers.

    + Proficiency in reading and editing G Code Programming.

    + Experience in quality control of parts.

    + Ability to work with precision measuring devices like micrometers and calipers.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
