Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician with expertise in areas such as welding, mechanical assembly or repair, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, or HVAC. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing production and facility machinery and equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
+ Review daily priority schedule with supervisor and ensure measuring devices are calibrated prior to starting assignments.
+ Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, clean and lubricate equipment and tooling as needed, and report operational problems to Crew Lead or Department Manager.
+ Conduct visual and audible inspections and tests on machines and equipment, using advanced troubleshooting skills to detect malfunctions and diagnose repairs needed for safety and efficient operation.
+ Determine materials and tools needed for repair, request from maintenance inventory, and review machine maintenance and repair history and manuals as necessary.
+ Dismantle defective machines and equipment, install new or repaired parts following specifications and blueprints using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments, and verify optimum performance levels before closing out the order.
+ Enter labor information into computer systems.
+ Troubleshoot CNC controls and drives, report issues to machine manufacturer, and assist with maintenance inventory.
+ Handle and store hazardous and non-hazardous waste responsibly.
+ Construct and repair structural woodwork and equipment based on blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions and may replace or install damaged glass windows, doors, partitions, ceiling or floor tile, door locks, carpet, and/or paint.
+ Perform electrical and electronic troubleshooting using electronic voltmeters and ammeters.
+ Set up and operate a variety of machine tools and fit and assemble parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintain production machinery.
+ Practice good housekeeping and properly dispose of waste according to safety and environmental policies.
Requirements
+ 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience
+ 3-5 years of experience working on HVAC systems
+ 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Proven troubleshoot and repair experience

Work Environment
The position operates on a first shift schedule from 6AM to 2PM. The work environment is manufacturing-based, requiring adherence to safety and environmental policies. The role involves interacting with various technologies and equipment, ensuring a hands-on and engaging experience.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Humble, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
