    The Food and Beverage manager directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departmenttomaintainthehigh standardsof food and beverage qualityand servicewithin the department\.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year \(2 preferred\) experience in upper managementwithina full service restaurant, 6 months \(1 year preferred\) hotel and banquet experience, strong administrative skills to complete tasks including but not limited to scheduling, inventory, record keeping, and purchasing, excellent multi\-tasking, time managementand communication skills, open availability, andproven ability to manage and motivate a team\.

     

    What will I be doing?

     

    As a Food and Beverage Manager youwouldbe responsible for the direction and supervision of food servers, bartenders, and other staff in reference to schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety\. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standard:

     

    Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in the outlets\. Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications\.

     

    Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet\. Greet and seat customers, resolve problems to the satisfaction of involved parties and answer telephones in a clear voice,coordinateand documentreservations\.

     

    Document inventory forecast usage andmonitorsupply so that restaurants are stocked with linen, glassware, silverware,, condiments,in order toprovide service\.

     

    Assistin ensuring that the restaurantcomplies withsanitation and safety standards for guests and team members\. Check that all equipment is in working order\. Visually inspect andtake action to ensurethat facilities in restaurants look appealing and attractive to guests\. Follow up on work orders so repairs and maintenance ofthe facilityare completed ona timelybasis\.

     

    Participate in marketing efforts of restaurants, create menu ideas, survey competition and report food trends, andassistin preparationsspecials\. Interact with customers todetermineneeds,satisfaction,and resolve conflicts\.

     

    Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation

     

    Implements effective controls of food,beverageand labor costs

     

    The annual pay range for this position is $70,000 \- $80,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location\.
