    Minimum qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

    + 5 years of experience in program management.

    + Experience with user data policy and regulatory compliance. (e.g., Digital Market Act (DMA), Federal Cartel Office (FCO), Age- Appropriate Design Code (AADC)).

    + Experience in risk management.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

    + Experience with supporting or leading internal audit programs.

    + Ability to navigate and grow in resourceful approach.

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    + Excellent organizational, problem-solving, automation, and data visualization skills (e.g., SQL).

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

     

    The Home Policy, Trust, and Compliance (PTC) team supports mission and outlook by providing systems, data, and tools necessary to earn user’s trust in the home. We ensure a foundation for all Home products including Google Assistant across the Home Platform including first-party and third-party devices/services, natural language/speech systems, video/audio applications, and Generative AI. We minimize the cost for product development teams to implement regulations and policies and maintain policy compliant features by building a policy platform and processes and tools.Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful.     The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     + Lead user data Policy and Compliance engineering programs which span cross-Google and manage the intake and tracking process for regulatory inquiries and impact assessments.

    + Influence leadership and drive decision making on engineering implementations.

    + Translate regulatory or legal requirements into technical implementation roadmaps and plans.

    + Coordinate commitments, manage joint roadmaps with partner teams, and promote a thorough understanding of customer and stakeholder needs.

    + Identify and drive process and systems improvements across the Google Home organization to reduce the cost associated with implementing and maintaining policy and regulatory-compliant features.
