    Purpose

     

    Contributes to the overall success of Markets and Enterprise Technology (M.E.T) US by overseeing the operations of the business and partnering with the functional areas to ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. The Senior Manager is a role positioned to add value to M.E.T US Technology to provide expertise and knowledge for the full spectrum of the day-to-day operations, financial activities and governance.

     

    What You'll Do

    Business Management

    + Assist with day-to-day operations by partnering with key support and control functions to:

    + Onboard and offboard employees – seating plan, equipment needs, coordination, shared folder access, etc.

    + Coordinate and ensure completion of ad-hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders

    + Own and execute Human Capital planning related to FTE & Contractor resourcing which includes contractor conversions, employee hiring, planning and strategy

    + Manage occupancy related matters, including facilities work and expenditures, moves and occupancy plans

    Reporting and Business Commentary

    + Create and understand meaningful, robust business commentary for various recurring Management and Executive Committees, Board meetings, and regulatory forums

    Financial Oversight and Control

    + Financial management and oversight of annual budget process, reporting, analysis, forecasting, accruals & allocations, invoice tracking, invoice payments

    + Oversee initiatives to achieve yearly financial targets

    + Systematic and accurate tracking and reporting of operational and project budgets and forecasts and provide timely, accurate, and thorough information on variances and risks & opportunities to budget and forecast

    Project Portfolio

    + Tracks and reports on financial progress of the overall program and major/critical projects and ensure alignment with Key Performance Indicators

    + Coordinates with the enterprise program management function as needed on projects with U.S. impact

    + Manage process for new business case activity and approvals; coordinate the preparation of business cases with IT and Business to ensure all requirements are addressed and review and validate financial requirements for CAPEX and OPEX spend

    Vendor/3rd Party Coordination

    + Coordinates identification, selection, contracting, and ongoing relationship management with 3rd parties providing MET US Technology Services

    + Coordinate Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) for technology owned contracts ensuring adherence to SIP, Coupa, MCHub, iCertis, TSR and Procurement policies and standards

    + Oversight and execution of vendor contracts (statement of work, change control notices, renewals)

    Control Framework & Monitoring

    + Leadership Analysis (Target Management, Trending, Projections)

    + At the direction of engagement leaders, develop status reports, and management and committee updates.

    + Develop, define and embed policies, procedures, guidelines and controls in the organization related to operational and project financials and forecasting, staff/resource management, vendor management and other areas as required

    + Assists with the management of the daily business and functional operations, development of strategic plans, new initiatives, priority definition, and financial expenses.

    Regulatory and Controls

    + Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and business decisions

    + Contribute to various regulatory requests, ensuring clarity and accuracy of responses

    + Primary point of contact for audits, annual reviews of policies and procedures and review of controls (Mandatory Absence policy, clean desk policy, etc.)

    + Assist with action plans to remediate identified IT business management related issues could be under Regulatory and Controls, or could be as a separate section under Governance

    What You’ll Bring

    + Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships across a large number of diverse stakeholder groups (including Senior Executives)

    + Exceptional communication skills with knowledge and experience across multiple platforms (i.e., print, visual media, online, etc.), with a demonstrated ability to drive employee engagement

    + Expert time management, project management, planning and organization skills to oversee and execute on multiple complex initiatives without compromising quality.

    + Proven track record in strategy development, including in-depth experience and demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary initiatives of varying sizes and complexity, efficiently and effectively, ensuring all elements of change are considered, understood and managed.

    + Strong organizational skills to coordinate and prioritize several concurrent projects.

    + Excellent visionary, planning and analytical skills.

    + Thorough understanding of high-quality SVP level standards in terms of presentation material and written communication.

    + The incumbent should be able to work in a fast paced and energized environment, deal with tight deadlines, solve complex problems, and balance conflicting priorities.

    + Self-Starter: High level of self-motivation, able to own and drive things forward, gathering feedback and identifying ways to do things better along the way.

    + Problem Solving: Structured critical thinker with superior problem-solving abilities who can organize people under pressure and pull in key decision makers to prioritize issues and respond to senior leaders.

    + Advanced Excel Skills: Significant hands-on Excel and data management experience is a must. Ability to track and manipulate significant datasets using disparate data sources, and the ability to design dynamic tooling that solves problems. Able to tell a compelling story by leveraging data, metrics, and visualizations.

    + Must have experience with CAPPM, PowerBI, Apptio, PowerPoint presentations, Visio, PeopleSoft, IT & Business Line Allocations
