Hiring Range: $81,036.80 - $105,788.80
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise Enhanced Pharmacy Services pharmacy technicians and support staff, and provide training to team members as needed.
• Coordinate patient onboarding, eligibility verification, and monthly adherence outreach.
• Develop and maintain workflows to ensure timely delivery of medications and operational excellence.
• Manage delivery scheduling, shipping logistics, and packaging inventory.
• Track and report key performance metrics including patient enrollment, delivery performance, and program financials.
• Collaborate with St. Mary’s Healthcare providers and clinics to promote patient enrollment and program awareness.
• Monitor patient tracking software and ensure accurate documentation of adherence follow-ups and delivery status.
• Ensure compliance with 340B program requirements, pharmacy operational standards, and organizational policies.
• Support audit readiness and maintain accurate operational records. Maintain proficiency in pharmacy systems and patient tracking software.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to expand and enhance service offerings.
• Develops and monitors unit staffing patterns to ensure patient safety, quality care, productivity and excellent patient outcomes while meeting applicable standards.
• Responsible for providing leadership to personnel.
• Interviews and selects qualified applicants for open, budgeted positions within the guidelines set forth in Human Resources polices and procedures.
• Provides ongoing feedback to staff concerning their performance, implementing corrective action as needed and per human resource policy.
•Ensures performance evaluations are thorough, timely and include goal setting for each individual.
• Establishes systems for open communication and problem solving, encourages employee involvement in safety and health standards, hazard analysis, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Promotes growth and development in self and others. Develops and documents orientation and ongoing training programs for departmental personnel
• Effectively uses KRONOS time and attendance system and other human resource information systems and processes. Effectively interprets and implements Human Resource policies and consults with Human Resources as necessary. Encourages and supports applicable certification of all eligible. Education:
Associate degree required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred in a medical, nursing, biology, or chemistry concentration, or related field. May consider pharmacy experience in lieu of education.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in pharmacy operations, medication distribution, delivery services, or a related pharmacy support environment required. One (1) year of leadership experience preferred.
• Familiarity with 340B program operations and pharmacy workflow best practices preferred.
Certifications / Licensure Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) accredited through PTCB or NHA required. Pharmacist credentialed from the New York Board of Pharmacy preferred. Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
