What the Position Involves

The Sr Coordinator of Radiology Operations is responsible for the supervision of clinical operations across all radiology modalities. This includes oversight of equipment, staff scheduling and timekeeping (UKG), inventory and financial operations, quality assurance, and patient and staff satisfaction. This leader ensures compliance with regulatory standards, participates in CMS/TJC investigations, and collaborates with Radiologists and modality coordinators to maintain consistent imaging standards across the Munson Healthcare system. The role also plays an active part in protocol development, safety initiatives, VOICE file management, and performance improvement efforts.

What’s Required

Education & Experience (one of the following):

+ Option 1:

+ 5 years of experience working as a Technologist (ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS required)

+ 2 years of supervisory experience preferred

+ BCLS certification, maintained biannually

+ Option 2:

+ Associate’s degree and 5 years of radiology experience

+ 2 years of supervisory experience required

+ CRA certification required within one year if not current

Additional Requirements:

+ Demonstrated ability to develop and motivate team members to ensure maximum departmental efficiency

+ Effective communication and customer service skills

+ Knowledge of regulatory standards, safety protocols, and radiation protection

+ Ability to act quickly and decisively in emergency situations and serve as a departmental representative across multiple healthcare functions
