    Looking for a Service Technician – Fire, Access Control & CCTV (6-Month Contract-to-Hire)

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a Service Technician to handle service calls for fire systems, access control, and cameras in commercial and enterprise environments. This is a field-based role where you’ll work independently, following a weekly schedule of assigned service tickets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Service and maintain commercial fire alarm systems

    + Troubleshoot and repair access control and CCTV systems

    + Perform system testing, signal verification, and upgrades

    + Provide basic customer instruction on system use

    + Maintain inventory of tools and equipment

    + Complete documentation and reports in a timely manner

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or Vocational Training

    + 1+ year of experience in fire, access control, or CCTV systems

    + Working knowledge of intrusion systems, intercoms, and local/national codes

    + Ability to read technical drawings and pull wire

    + Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening

    Preferred Skills:

    + Strong customer service and communication skills

    + Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic

    + Experience in commercial or enterprise environments

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to lift and carry equipment

    + Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces

    + Good manual dexterity and coordination

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
