• Medical Collections Specialist

    TEKsystems (Brooklyn Center, MN)


    TEKsystems is actively hiring for Collection Specialists!!! This position will be remote after training (MN Residents ONLY)

    MUST HAVES:

    + 2+ years of collections experience

    + 2+ years of customer service experience

    Description:

    + The collections specialist is responsible for making outbound and taking inbound calls from patients regarding their outstanding medical bills.

    + Explain to patients their insurance coverage, deductible, copay, etc.

    + De-escalate patient and address questions and concerns

    + Facilitate payment plans or obtain payment in full

    + Maintain patient records and documentation

    Pay:

    $20.32/hr

    Shift:

    60 days of onsite training in Brooklyn Center. Will train with a Sr. Collector, Team Lead, or Supervisor.

     

    Will be remote after training with occasional days in office for team days.

     

    Equipment will be provided when transitioning to working from home.

     

    Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (will need to work until 6 PM on Mondays or Tuesdays)

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.32 - $20.32/hr.
