AV Design Specialist (Mid-Level)

Hybrid – Wilmington, MA

Full-Time | AV Engineering Team

Reports to: Sales Engineering Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated AV Design Specialist with at least 1 year of hands-on experience designing AV systems for commercial spaces. Key Responsibilities

+ Client Collaboration: Participate in early-stage discussions to understand client needs and project goals.

+ AV System Design: Assist in developing AV solutions for a variety of commercial spaces using platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, and Q-SYS.

+ Documentation Support: Help create system layouts and equipment lists (AutoCAD/Revit experience is welcome but not required).

+ Team Engagement: Work with architects, consultants, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and alignment.

+ Learning & Development: Embrace training opportunities, mentorship, and continuous learning to grow within the AV design field.

+ Project Support: Contribute to smooth transitions from design to implementation and support quality assurance efforts.

What We’re Looking For

+ 1+ years of experience designing AV systems for commercial spaces.

+ Familiarity with AV platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Q-SYS, etc.

+ Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.

+ Ability to interpret AV schematics and technical documentation.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word).

+ A coachable mentality and a strong desire to learn and grow in the AV design space.

+ CTS certification is a plus (CTS-D or CTS-I preferred but not required).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
