    Description

    + Very fast paced front desk environment - Patients check in every 5 minutes, can have up to 5 patients check in for same appointment time -

    + Will be responsible for patient admission, surgical chart preparation, and coordinating operating room schedules.

    + Patient Admissions - greet all patients, complete check in process, collect patient information and update chart, collect co pays and medical records, answer incoming phone calls, update patient family members throughout appointment

    + Chart Prep & Medical Records - work with pre-surgical team to pull necessary patient docs and keep all patient records filed and organized for providers to reference easily

    + Coordinate Schedules - plan Operating Room schedules based on patient volume and print & distribute upcoming schedules for care teams to prepare for the next day

    + Answer incoming phone calls from patients

    Qualifications

    MUST HAVE

    + 1 year of customer service experience in a fast paced environment that required high attention to detail, multitasking, and face to face customer service

    + Computer savvy

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

    + 6+ months of experience in a medical receptionist position with a high volume of in person patients

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
