    Lead Access Control Installer – Join a High-Impact Security Team (TEKsystems’s Client)

    • What You’ll Do

    + Install and test access control systems, including door strikes and magnetic locks, in commercial settings.

    + Cut, fit, and mount hardware with precision to ensure clean, secure installations.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with access control and security equipment.

    + Perform routine inspections and maintenance to keep systems running at peak performance.

    + Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

    + Maintain detailed records of installations, service calls, and materials used.

    + Stay current on the latest access control technologies and best practices.

    + Travel to job sites with a company-provided vehicle, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.

    • What We’re Looking For

    + Proven experience in access control installation, especially in commercial environments.

    + Strong knowledge of door strikes, magnetic locks, and related hardware.

    + Comfortable with cutting, fitting, and mounting access control components.

    + Exposure to programming systems (you don’t need to be an expert—just eager to learn).

    + Ability to read technical diagrams and follow installation specs.

    + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    + Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DMV check.

    + Relevant certifications in security systems or access control (preferred).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
