DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Budget Analyst 2, you will perform budgetary and financial functions related to the preparation of the annual budget, rebudgets, and reports for DHS. Reports will communicate the current status of funding versus contractual obligations and the projected year end surplus or deficit situation within each funding stream.
In this role, you will also review and approve contract modification and adjustment requests submitted by the program office. You will also be expected to prepare a projection of assigned grants on an annual basis; prepare and compile monthly financial reports, quarterly reports, and other ad hoc reports as requested; and assist in the preparations of the County grant budget for the annual budget submission.
