    The Control Management organization is seeking a professional to use your Program Management, Support, and defect management skills within our suite of Operational Risk Management applications to support our Users, Business, and Organization. This is an opportunity to learn, and eventually lead, within a global support team focused on the firm's management of Operational Risk and Reporting. You will communicate with a high level of detail to senior stakeholders, end users, and technology partners on all production Incidents/Issues. You will also partner with Technology to document bugs and prioritize fixes through production deployments.

     

    As a Senior Associate within the Control Management organization, you will have the opportunity to work with other highly motivated individuals in a global organization that supports the firm's charter to register our operational risks and then produce internal, regulatory, and organizational reporting. You will analysis user's application issues, suggest solutions, and report on these to senior management. You will also support Production Deployments via smoke testing upon release with occasional weekend work.

    Job responsibilities

    + Lead multiple projects and workstreams within an application support team. Develop implement and supervise project plans. Provide expertise to major project results, milestones, and required tasks. Maintain project documentation and trackers.

    + Provide insight on standard methodologies and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Ensure strategies are aligned with the overall department strategy.

    + Communicate project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.

    + Proactively identify and mitigate risks and any related project issues.

    + Communicate solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and consensus as appropriate.

    + Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    + Support the adoption of firmwide tools, templates, and best practices.

    + Conduct periodic review on various operating models and recommend changes.

    + Lead and drive meetings with business, technical, and management staff. Support and contribute to team knowledge sharing and development.

    + Prepare presentations and materials to be used in various meetings including but not limited to stakeholder reviews, project team meetings, leadership reviews.

    + Work within an Agile or waterfall framework to deliver on Business initiatives and Strategic programs.

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    + Experience successfully delivering projects.

    + 5+ years of experience in an Application Support/Client Service or Business Analyst/Product Owner role performing issue analysis and understanding monitoring requirements

    + Strong control background, process improvement and project management experience

    + Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology and product delivery

    + Experience with creating meaningful charts, graphs, or other data visualizations.

    + Experience presenting to senior management.

    + Self-starter, critical thinker who is able to prioritize multiple initiatives.

    + Strong communication skills, including oral, written and presentation.

    + Excel proficiency (Pivots, V-Lookups, and Formulas) and PowerPoint.

    + Initiative-taking, energetic, results-oriented, curious and attention to detail. Exhibits a continuous improvement mindset towards all duties.

    + Interpersonal skills - Speaks and acts with the appropriate level of confidence and empowerment; demonstrates professional assertion. Ability to partner with Business Managers and actively listens to instructions, feedback and viewpoints from others while proactively seeking feedback. Able to collaborate with individuals across the business to achieve goals, while proactively looking for opportunities to continue building strong internal relationships.

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    + Domain Knowledge in Financial Services

    + Experience with ticketing and triage/defect management highly preferred.

    + ITIL Certification

     

    Candidates must be able to physically work in our offices full-time (5 days). The specific details and timing will be determined and communicated by direct management.
