    The Digital Engineering Team creates and maintains web experiences that enable our customers, partners, and employees to build, learn, and engage with Pega. Our digital ecosystem — which includes Pega GenAI Blueprint™, Socrates, Pega Academy and our developer community — serves audiences and offices across the globe. Our engineers work from North America, Europe, and APAC to provide sunrise-to-sunrise development and 24/7 uptime and security.

    The team partners closely with stakeholders across the organization — Pega Cloud, product engineering, marketing, human resources, finance, and more — to constantly enhance and scale the applications we build and the services we provide.

    Who You Are:

    + Local to Boston with the ability to travel to Waltham 2-3 times a week

    + Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

    + Deep experience with Node.js, Express and asynchronous programming.

    + Proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems.

    + Expertise in database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

    + Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines and related devops tools and best practices.

    + Experience working on Agile scrum teams and participating in Agile activities.

    + Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (React, HTML, CSS).

    + Experience or interest in enterprise content management systems, especially Drupal.

    + Experience or interest in cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud vendors like AWS, GCS, and Microsoft Azure.

    + Experience or interest in generative AI, large language models and autonomous agents.

    + Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Lifelong learner who is always excited about new technologies.

    What You've Accomplished:

    + 10+ years of experience developing and architecting large scale web applications.

    + 5-7 years of experience with Node.js and other server-side web technologies.

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
