DIRECTOR/PRINCIPAL DIGITAL PRODUCT MANAGER
ABOUT YOU:
Are you a strategic digital product leader ready to drive the vision and roadmap for high-impact digital products? We’re seeking a Director/Principal Digital Product Manager to lead the development and execution of digital product strategies that power Jostens’ educational and retail experiences. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations — ensuring alignment between product innovation and business growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), this is your opportunity to define and deliver digital solutions that shape the future of our customer experiences.
YOU WILL:
+ Define Product Vision & Roadmaps. Develop, own, and manage product roadmaps for multiple large, cross-functional digital products, driving alignment with customer needs and business goals.
+ Identify Gaps & Opportunities. Shape product vision and strategy by identifying customer needs, market gaps, and emerging trends across Jostens’ digital portfolio.
+ Drive Planning & Prioritization. Lead product planning, backlog prioritization, and roadmap execution, using data-driven insights to optimize outcomes and customer value. Set strategic direction for user experience in partnership with UI/UX.
+ Collaborate Across Teams. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, UI/UX, architecture, and technology teams to ensure seamless product and customer success.
+ Lead Product Development. Facilitate product development through requirements definition, backlog management, acceptance testing, and sprint reviews for large, complex product sets.
+ Manage Launches & Iterations. Lead product launches and post-launch reviews, track key metrics, and continuously iterate to drive innovation and value.
+ Resolve Issues & Ensure Quality. Identify and mitigate risks to delivery timelines and quality, while maintaining transparency with leadership and key stakeholders.
+ Typical/expected % of overnight travel: <2%
YOU HAVE:
+ Education. Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Experience Design, or a related field — or equivalent experience. Preferred MBA and CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner) Certification.
+ Experience. 10+ years in product management, project management, business analysis, program management, or product marketing; 5+ years specifically in product and/or experience management.Preferred experience includes managing custom platforms—such as commerce, publishing, or content platforms—and B2B2C experience in a retail or commerce industry.
+ Business Acumen. Strong understanding of product strategy, market dynamics, and customer value drivers. Strong financial acumen preferred.
+ Agile Expertise. Experience driving Agile software development processes.
+ Cross-Functional Leadership. Proven success collaborating with large, cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive product outcomes. Experience providing guidance and direction to cross-functional resources is preferred.
+ Analytical & Communication Skills. Strong writing and communication abilities, with the ability to translate data and complex concepts into actionable insights and strategies.
+ Technical Fluency. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and bridge business and technology priorities.

Our Marketing team leverages digital marketing strategies and tactics focused on schools, independent sales reps, parents, and students to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. Team members will understand and leverage customer insights through data analysis & testing to then create experiences and relevant content throughout the customer journey and to support our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products, and Professional Sports. Through executing across a variety of consumer touchpoints on jostens.com, social, e-mail and print materials, the team collaborates with internal partners to create relevant and timely marketing campaigns to meet the needs of our customers.
