Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a dynamic business offering vacation ownership across 18 resorts in Florida, South Carolina, California, and Hawaii – with more announced and under development! You’ll join the Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) - Pricing and Revenue Management team, within the Commercial organization, supporting DVC. The team helps maximize sales revenue and profitability of the DVC points business via pricing and promotions.

As a **Pricing and Promotions Analyst (Project Hire/Internal Assignment) - DVC,** you’ll help develop pricing strategies to activate Member and Prospect point purchasing. Simultaneously, you’ll assist in the development of future initiatives, considering the commercial implications and opportunities available for both DVC and Members. To succeed in this role, you should be able to analyze business data and then ask questions to identify and activate key strategic levers that drive performance.

The Pricing and Promotions Analyst (PH/IA) – DVC will report to Mgr Pricing & Promotions DVC and be located in Celebration, FL.

This role is a temporary Project Hire/Internal Assignment (PH/IA) that is expected to be 6 months in length; note the timeframe may shift based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

+ Assist in the development of content for large, cross-functional forums, including Pricing and Promotion weekly meetings and strategic initiative project check-ins

+ Develop and implement pricing and promotional incentive strategies using detailed analysis of sales trends, forecast, and assumptions, while also incorporating senior leadership and operational feedback

+ Partner with Finance, Club Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Sales Planning, and Compliance to finalize consumer-facing promotional offer messages

+ Create and maintain complex financial analysis for use in pricing and promotional decisions, including long term strategic projects

Required Qualifications:

+ 1+ years of experience in financial, commercial, or analytical fields such as Pricing, Revenue Management, Finance, or Forecasting & Planning (this can include internship experience)

+ Able to build strong relationships with partners through exceptional communication skills, including the ability to ask questions to gain understanding and influence situations to achieve optimal solutions

+ Experience using PowerPoint, Excel (advanced) and performing data analysis including turning raw data into consumable and actionable insights. Experience creating decks in PowerPoint with the ability to build clear and concise stories

+ Proactive in uncovering trends outside the initial request or project scope via data exploration

+ Agile and willingness to quickly learn skills and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in fields such as Pricing (dynamic), Revenue Management, Forecasting & Planning, or Finance for tourism, hotel/resorts or time share industries

+ Cross-functional experience interacting with other internal teams. Experience supporting larger initiatives or projects including working with deadlines/timelines.

+ Product knowledge of Disney Vacation Club (DVC)

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or other quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
