The Work You Will Do:
Project Coordinator for the Office of Information Technology
The Project Coordinator assists in preparing and coordinating project plans, tasks, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects. They support th Office of Information Technology Leadership and project managers by monitoring progress and updating documentation. They also help develop and implement work items and plans, coordinate with various departments to gather data, and assist in streamlining workflows to enhance productivity

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and coordination of project plans, tasks, work items, schedules, and budgets to ensure the timely completion of projects and initiatives. Provide support to the Ooffice of Information Technology (OIT) Leadership, project managers, and other team members, monitoring project progress and updating project documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. Help develop and implement work items and plans that meet program and service needs, including resource allocation, spend plans, requirements gathering, and strategic planning. Coordinate with various departments to gather and compile project-related data and reports. Assist in the development and implementation of OIT processes and best practices to streamline workflows, reduce resource wastage, and enhance overall productivity, thereby improving project efficiency and effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes.
Assists with onboarding tasks and ensures new team members are smoothly integrated into the Department. Responsibilities include preparing necessary documentation, coordinating with various departments, and providing support to new hires during their initial hiring period.
Prepares various requests and reimbursements in accordance with established policies and procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
The Successful Candidate will have the following required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
+ Knowledge of general office procedures and practices; Knowledge of techniques for effectively dealing with people. Knowledge of correct grammar usage; Knowledge of the techniques for effective communication.
Skills in:
+ Skill in providing customer service; Skill in use of office equipment; Skill in using a personal computer (PC) and Microsoft Office Application Programs.
Ability to:
+ Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures; Ability to access, input and retrieve information from a computer database; Ability to follow instructions; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ A high school diploma or its equivalent and one year of experience in an office environment.
