TITLE: Director of IS Applications
EMPLOYER: Amerigis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.
DUTIES: Leads the creation and enforcement of IT standards and procedures for company enterprise applications. Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives, and business roadmaps. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people. Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization. Develops and maintains yearly budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. Researches and makes recommendations on software products and services. Helps evaluate software and services under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings. Implements and deploys new applications, systems software, products, cloud services, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise. Ensures that any new software integrating with existing company systems meets security and privacy specifications and aligns with the overall enterprise system architecture. Contributes to pilot and test planning and execution. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Partners with the Architectural team to ensure architecture guidelines have been followed in the design and specifications of the assigned projects/systems and that there is appropriate adherence to the systems development lifecycle. Consistently models the company’s philosophy of customer service and compliance. Performs other duties as assigned/necessary.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business or related, plus 6 years of experience in any occupation with progressive leadership of platform development, which must include: six (6) of progressive leadership of platform development including automation, scaling, security, quality assurance, environment management, continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline, hiring and effective employee training and development. Experience must also include: Experience in application of financial planning and evaluation; Business plan development; Business modeling and its ability to communicate how people process, technology, and controls are applied to provide a service; Experience with service-level agreements’ development and implementation; Experience with IS standards such as SDLC, ITIL, and PMLC; Customer service fundamentals including methods to solicit feedback, obtaining requirements, weighing and prioritizing requirements, and differentiating between constituencies in a given customer base; Experience leading the creation and enforcement of IT standards and procedures for a start-up software as a service company; Experience developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people; Experience implementing and deploying new applications, systems software, products, cloud services, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise; and Experience ensuring that any new software integrating with existing company systems meets security and privacy specifications and aligns with the overall enterprise system architecture.
