    The Senior Project Manager - WMS Deployment & Transformation is responsible for leading enterprise-wide warehouse management system initiatives that span multiple sites, functional areas, and strategic programs. This individual will drive end-to-end execution, strategic alignment, and risk governance across the WMS deployment roadmap while serving as the primary liaison to senior leaders across Operations, IT, and Executive Steering Committees

     

    This role will play a critical role in ensuring on-time, high-quality WMS deployments by proactively managing risks, monitoring progress, and driving alignment across all teams involved in the implementation process.

     

    This position is remote with travel which means the work can be completed from anywhere in the united States except Hawaii or United States Territories.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Program Leadership & Strategic Execution

    + Lead multiple high-impact WMS deployment programs across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and roadmap priorities.

    + Oversee end-to-end program execution, including integrated timelines, resource planning, and performance tracking across diverse workstreams and functions.

    + Drive alignment between Operations, IT, and executive stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and scalability across deployment sites.

    + Anticipate and mitigate program-level risks and constraints through proactive scenario planning and issue escalation frameworks.

    + Champion the use of standardized enterprise project management methodologies and governance models across all WMS initiatives.

    Executive Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

    + Serve as the primary liaison for senior leaders, site executives, vendor partners, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring consistent alignment on program goals and delivery milestones.

    + Provide strategic updates to executive sponsors, highlighting program status, business risk, value realization, and performance metrics.

    + Facilitate cross-functional steering committees and governance forums to ensure accountability and decision-making alignment.

    + Maintain structured program documentation and ensure transparent communication of program decisions and outcomes.

    Risk Governance & Post-Deployment Stabilization

    + Establish and maintain enterprise-wide risk management frameworks for WMS rollouts, ensuring proactive mitigation and contingency planning.

    + Lead post-go-live performance reviews and stabilization plans, ensuring sustainable operational handoff and resolution of critical deployment issues.

    + Partner with the Director of WMS Deployment & Transformation to drive risk remediation strategies across the deployment portfolio.

    Enterprise Change Management & Process Optimization

    + Drive enterprise change management and adoption strategies, ensuring operational readiness, performance continuity, and stakeholder buy-in.

    + Institutionalize best practices and continuous improvement into future WMS deployment waves based on post-implementation insights and benchmarking.

    + Evaluate new tools, methods, and automation opportunities that improve WMS effectiveness and support supply chain transformation goals.

    + **Remote** : This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + 10+ years of progressive experience in program or project management, with demonstrated success leading large-scale, multi-site WMS deployments or transformational supply chain initiatives.

    + Deep knowledge of warehouse operations, enterprise WMS platforms, automation technologies, and end-to-end supply chain integration

    + Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs involving IT, Operations, Finance, and external partners, with clear accountability for timeline, budget, and performance outcomes.

    + Experience presenting to and influencing executive leadership, including steering committees and governance councils.

    + Strong capability in program governance, strategic risk mitigation, business case development, and post-deployment value realization.

    + 25% of travel required

    EDUCATION

    + Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation and logistics, operations management, supply chain management, engineering, or equivalent experience

    CERTIFICATIONS/TRAINING

    + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credential preferred

    + Supply Chain Management or related field

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    + Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or equivalent).

    + Advanced proficiency in project portfolio and resource management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Power BI, or equivalent).

    + Ability to travel as needed to support on-site deployment activities.

    Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between

     

    $95,000 - $155,000
