Global Commercial Lead, Konect

Purpose of the position
The position purpose is twofold. The primary focus is to lead and develop GVR’s Global eMobility business (Konect) with focus on accounts within Forecourt, Convenience and Destination. In practical terms this means growing the “order intake” within accounts that Konect has defined as strategic or of special importance. In this role of Global Commercial Lead you will work with and lead direct reports and in addition actively engage with a selection of target accounts and develop relations with their key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
+ Ensure the Order intake for the target accounts globally:
+ Primary focus on the target accounts and countries; Maintains and grows sales level with existing key accounts while laying out and executing action plans to break into new ones to gain competitive share
+ Analyzing variances and leading corrective actions
+ Develop relations at all levels and participate in key meetings with customers or partners to create, maintain and develop the necessary intimacy
+ Lead the Konect sales team:
+ Challenge and support the team to improve quality and dimension of the funnel of opportunities, to increase coverage, conversion, market share and a balanced product mix
+ Hold recurrent reviews with the team to measure individual performances versus the target KPIs, providing guidance and coaching
+ Drive and actively participate in the preparation of tenders and to key opportunity negotiations
+ Provide the team with objectives, support in business cases definition, critical commercial scenarios, major offer preparation, pricing strategy and contract drafting
+ Optimize distribution channel to maximize coverage and increase conversion rate
+ Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly orders and revenue, in line with the corporate forecasting calendar
+ Provide inputs and actively contribute to the yearly Budget process, Strategic Planning, and monthly Policy Deployment
+ Continuously monitor the market dynamics and correspondingly adapt organizational model and Go-To-Market strategy
+ Identify and coordinate with other functions, promotional activities, and campaigns to drive volumes
+ Support upper management functions with timely reporting, data analysis and risk management
Position Relationships
Internal relationships:
+ Maintain a strong relationship with the GVR sales teams across the globe
+ Facilitate sensible or complex orders to be processed and delivered by coordinating with Sales Administration and/or Customer Service and/or Operations departments
+ Coordinate with the Konect sales team to provide regular S&OP feeds to Operations
+ Convey relevant market insights and analysis to the Marketing function as an input to new product developments, product enhancements and marcomm actions
+ Identify relevant trade shows and events to which to participate to maximize customer reach, cooperating with the Marketing function
+ Take initiative and drive the preparation and execution of relevant “customer events”, in house or offsite, in support of product launches and sales target achievement
+ Provide inputs to the Product Development team for the initial milestones
+ Cooperate with Finance function to drive sound financial reporting and forecasting
+ Develop team talents in cooperation with the Human Resource function, making use of the corporate talent review tools and processes
+ Ensure corporate compliance through the implementation of the programs provided by the Legal team
+ Support Finance department in credit collection activities whenever it is needed

Qualifications:
+ Team Leadership
+ Presentation skills (to engage and present up to C-level suite)
+ Negotiation skills (to negotiate up to large business terms)
+ Contracting / legal skills (to draft and negotiate contracts)
+ Fuel retail business background or experience.
+ Experience in sales management, account management and complex sales
The base compensation range for this position is $200K to $230K per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity. For this specific role, you may be eligible to receive sales commission in addition to the base salary.
