The opportunity
The Director, Marketing - HCP Promotion UZEDY owns creating and driving marketing strategy for UZEDY in the US. Specific areas of strategic responsibility and focus include health care provider (HCP) promotion, HCP market research, HCP messaging, UZEDY brand planning, hospital promotions, and corporate communications. This role manages a team of marketers and is charged with building a high-performance, engaged team. Strong collaboration with the Value and Access team to create compelling payer-focused marketing strategies is an additional responsibility for this role. in addition to other key stakeholders this role will partner with and support include field sales, sales operations, and training.
How you’ll spend your day
+ Drive brand strategy development, tactical planning and execution of UZEDY HCP marketing initiatives in alignment with the overarching Schizophrenia portfolio strategy.
+ Lead and develop a team of HCP marketers. Responsible for tactical development and execution.
+ Own financial management for the brand, including forecasting, budget management, management of agency spend, and setting up measurement of results.
+ Create core HCP messaging and creative in partnership with agency of record and media agencies while ensuring alignment with brand strategy.
+ Deliver impactful hospital promotion and operations programs, including HIFT/samples.
+ Lead HCP promotion, market research, messaging, targeting, and PR strategy.
+ Ensure effective, targeted HCP media plans via routine monitoring and analyzing return on spend.
+ Work in close partnership with the Value and Access team to create payer-focused marketing strategies.
+ Manage and measure promotional efforts to ensure strategy and messaging are flawlessly executed.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in HCP & consumer experience marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, Training and Market Access to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution.
+ Lead and participate in sales and marketing planning meetings.
+ Proactively identify obstacles to brand growth and works collaboratively to resolve them.
+ Manage budgets and timelines to achieve defined targets.
+ Partner with Customer Insight group to refine market research plans and establishing standardized, aligned performance metrics and ROI analytics.
Your experience and qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
+ Minimum of 10 Years of pharmaceutical experience, with launch leadership, strong experience is required
+ Prior experience in psychiatry and mental health disorders (preferably schizophrenia),
+ Prior experience with people management in marketing and with HCP marketing budgets, and experience in translating customer insights into impactful business strategies and plans preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
+ Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills and ability.
+ Proven business acumen demonstrated through analysis, problem-solving and success measures
+ Demonstrated ability to manage external agencies and vendors.
Travel Requirements:
Approximately 35% domestic travel
