    Stabil Drill is currently seeking a **Director of Optimization** to join our team in **Houston, TX.** This position is responsible for developing and driving improvements in the technical delivery of our products, ensuring optimal application success across sales, clients, and engineering. This role will focus on moving technical expertise beyond traditional operations/engineering teams and into client-facing applications, enhancing product adoption, fit, and innovation

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Lead efforts to refine how technical aspects of our products enhance client success, ensuring seamless first-run and long-term application.

    + Bridge technical expertise with sales strategy to improve product-market fit and drive adoption.

    + Provide performance feedback to engineering teams to drive continuous product innovation and refinement.

    + Spend 60% of time focused on US-based clients, with the remaining 40% allocated to international engagements.

    + Serve as the primary technical point of contact for inbound requests from countries without assigned representatives.

    + Collaborate with international management teams and regional managers on technical product deployment strategies.

    + Dedicate 85% of time to external efforts supporting sales and client engagement, with 15% reserved for internal operations and engineering collaboration.

    + Own technical client-facing content, including handbooks, fleet sheets, proposals, and spec sheets.

    + Coordinate closely with the QHSE team to elevate data collection processes to support product validation and improvement.

    + Develop technical marketing content in partnership with the marketing team to improve product visibility and adoption.

    + Lead new product rollouts, equipping sales teams with sales strategies and providing direct in-office client engagement to support adoption.

    + Act as the key technical feedback channel for engineering, ensuring product performance insights are effectively communicated in monthly engineering meetings.

    + Work cross-functionally to drive improvements that align product capabilities with real-world application needs.

    Education/Experience/Skills:

    + Engineering or Technical Degree

    + 5 years of relevant industry experience

    + Strong technical background with experience in product optimization, application strategy, and client success enablement.

    + Ability to bridge technical expertise with business and sales strategy to drive adoption and revenue growth.

    + Experience working across international markets, managing global technical deployments.

    + Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and management teams.

    + Ability to analyze product performance data and provide actionable feedback to improve application fit and innovation.
