Job Description
Position Summary
The Site Planner develops and maintains site plans, 3D models, and visual materials to support leasing and development initiatives at the direction of management. This role collaborates with internal teams to ensure plan accuracy, evaluate site conditions, and align designs with project goals. Responsibilities also include updating plans based on project changes and supporting presentations for internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
+ Develop preliminary site plan concepts at the direction of the development team. Provide internal site planning evaluation for projects ranging from small out parcels to mall redevelopments.
+ Coordinate with numerous internal departments to generate and ensure viability and accuracy of plans.
+ Create proposed site plans and area studies in graphic form (CAD) to supplement leasing activities for proposed redevelopments, expansions, new developments, etc.
+ Create conceptual 3-D massing models and/or renderings to convey the design intent of internal design and potential leasing concepts.
+ Update and maintain site plans and property exhibits to reflect changes generated from surveys, leasing updates, property adjustments, and parcel dispositions.
+ Compile and analyze data on site conditions such as existing parking, easements, utilities, proposed redevelopments, roadway revisions, anchor revisions and parcel subdivisions.
+ Coordinate the evolution of planning and design concepts with the development team, and update development plans to reflect current direction of project.
+ Produce imaging or presentations for development teams use showing proposed and current projects.
+ Adhere to all established department policies and procedures and collaborate effectively with team members to support departmental goals and objectives.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a closely related field required.
+ 1-3 years of experience working in an architectural firm or with a public or private land use agency preferred.
+ Solid knowledge of site analysis, zoning, easements, utilities, flow of pedestrian/vehicular/service traffic, parking layouts and dimensions, and landscaping considered is essential.
+ Working knowledge of design and drafting software including:
+ AutoCAD or Revit
+ Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) or Bluebeam
+ 3D/rendering tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, or Lumion
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Foundational knowledge of BOMA standards for building measurement.
+ Basic understanding of building materials, construction budgets, and zoning/code research and analysis.
+ Ability to navigate legal documents and interpret maps, exhibits, and aerial imagery.
+ Experience in the development and coordination of Construction Documents.
+ Ability to gather, organize, and analyze data relevant to company sites.
+ Strong Analytical skills with the ability to identify complex problems, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions required.
+ Effective listening and comprehension skills with the ability to interpret spoken information, sketches and visual concepts is essential.
+ Strong time management skills with the ability to prepare deliverables within deadlines required.
Compensation
+ Salary type: Exempt
+ Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
+ Salary Pay Range: $55,000 - $68,000
+ Annual Bonus: 10%
