Opened in 2020, **The Pillars Child Care Center** is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This Intergenerational Child Care Center is embedded in The Pillars of Prospect Park Senior Living community and features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living, and 44 memory care apartments.
We are seeking a **Child Care Director** to support Ebenezer’s Intergenerational childcare program by caring for our children in their assigned age group and providing supervision. Our Child Care Director manages and directs the on-site Child Care Program, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws governing child care are adhered to while creating a meaningful intergenerational program for children and seniors.
+ 80 hours in two weeks
+ Monday- Friday
Responsibilities:
+ Exercises supervisory responsibilities and ability to lead all aspects of the program elements and provide direct care when needed
+ Facilities Management (facility compliance requirements, coordinates with the Chef and kitchen to ensure DHS compliance)
+ Supervises the maintenance of the facility and grounds and provides direction to appropriate staff and/or vendors as vital
+ Ensures the facility is in compliance with all applicable state and federal rules and regulations
+ Supervises Child Care staff and volunteers
Required:
+ High school Diploma/GED
+ 1-3 years experience in similar role
Preferred:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
+ 3-5 years experience in similar role
+ Experience with intergenerational programming

Compensation Disclaimer
The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
