    Principal Accountabilities

    + Responsible for monitoring and upkeep of all Ammonia Refrigeration systems

    + Perform shift audits of boilers, steam plant and all steam end users

    + Test and treat boiler feed water; monitors RO and water softeners

    + Observes boiler, condensate, and feed water systems units to detect malfunctions. Make adjustments and repairs as required

    + Maintain log of meter and gauge readings and records data such as water test results, quantity of fuel consumed, temperature and pressures

    + Assist with troubleshooting, analyzing and repair of electrical control systems

    + Willing and able to work a schedule covering 24/7/365

    + Perform multiple tasks simultaneously

    + Specific Eye Requirements: no contact lenses allowed in engine room when welding or electrical troubleshooting and repair

    Required Qualifications

    + Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

    + Must be 18 years or older

    + State Technical School apprenticeship and/or Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or an accredited Industrial Refrigeration, Boiler Tech program or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Must have knowledge of compressed air systems

    + Must be able to train and be certified in Hazmat Level A Entry

    + Must be dependable and have the ability to work flexible hours and/or shifts

    + Must be detail oriented

    + Must be a team player, but also work well alone

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Previous production/maintenance/refrigeration experience

    + RETA or IIAR Certification a plus

    + Industrial Ammonia/Refrigeration and Electrical experience preferred
