What will you do as an Video Monitor Technician?
+ Monitor patients via video system and verbally redirect as needed using 2-way audio.
+ Document patient activities, interventions, and communications with staff.
+ Notify nursing staff of urgent or emergent situations and activate STAT alerts as needed.
+ Maintain patient privacy by using electronic privacy curtain and respecting scheduled care times.
+ Collaborate with nursing staff and supervisors to prioritize monitoring needs.
+ Follow hospital protocols for reporting, documentation, and privacy.
Shift Details:
+ 4–8 hour shifts in designated video monitoring room.
+ No personal cell phone use during shifts; dedicated phone line provided for communication.
What do you need to be an Video Monitor Technician?
Education and Experience Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Direct patient care experience in a clinical setting required.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
+ Familiarity with healthcare terminology a plus.

Salary Range: $15.92-20.87/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
