    Foot Patrol Security Officer

     

    2nd Shift

     

    Tuesday-Friday

     

    3pm-1am

    Job Requirements:

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Unarmed ASRB preferred.

    Job Description:

    + Monitor the associates entering the Turnstiles to assure their safety and handle any complications or incidents that may arise.

    + Conduct routine patrols at the inside and outside Break Areas.

    + Conduct interior walking patrols of the Facility, Dock Faces, and Small Container Aisles.

    + Conduct walking patrols of the overall Parking Lot checking for safety hazards, parking lot violations, vandalism, theft, or any workplace violence related issues.

    + Set up barricades and provide traffic control for special events.

    + Provide assistance and direction to Associates and visitor’s entering or leaving the property, deterring unauthorized traffic, and redirecting deliveries/vendors as needed.

    + A curious nature that helps you to remain aware of the activities around you.

    + Provide excellent customer service, assisting and addressing the concerns of visitors and employees.

    + The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.

    + Monitor facility access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises, in support of a secure environment.

    + Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures.

    + Must have basic computer experience and the ability to use a tablet to conduct security reports.

    + Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction.

    + Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, utilizing appropriate actions and established protocols.

    + Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.

    + Informs and ensures compliance of SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc.

    Education Requirements (All)

     

    High School Diploma or equivalent

     

    Certification Requirements (All)

     

    Alabama Security Regulatory Board License Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
