    About This Role:

    The Enrollment Coordinator for Student Success is a full-time professional staff position in the Office of Student Success responsible for providing guidance and direction to students seeking out institutional support services and programs that contribute to their continued enrollment and academic success. This will involve conducting regular outreach to academically at-risk students, helping students identify challenges to their academic progress, and creating an action plan to achieve academic, professional, and personal objectives. The Enrollment Coordinator will also be responsible for providing guidance in understanding institutional policies and procedures pertinent to academic progression and academic standing. The Enrollment Coordinator will serve as a point of contact for a college’s faculty and administration on academic recovery and retention activities.

    What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities:

    + Manage a student caseload for a designated academic college. Meet, refer, and follow up with students regarding general academic questions, concerns, and needs. Maintain accurate records to track student academic performance and academic recovery for reporting purposes.

    + Engage with at-risk students on matters related to their academic performance, including those facing academic probation and suspension. Follow up with students identified for concern via Early Alert and/or Progress Report notifications. Work with students in developing individualized success plans that include tutoring, academic coaching, career planning, and other pertinent support services.

    + Communicate with students regarding institutional resources available to help address questions or concerns related to their academic and student service needs, as well as promote personal and professional development opportunities.

    + Refer students to appropriate institutional office(s) and point of contact. Identify and keep current record of academic and campus resources that contribute to student retention, persistence, and degree completion.

    + Collaborate with faculty, staff, academic units, and support service offices in identifying, developing, and/or executing programming and initiatives contributing to student retention, persistence, and degree completion.

    + Utilize technology such as EAB Navigate, Slate, Banner, Degreeworks, and similar systems to assist with addressing students’ questions and concerns.

    + Collaborate with other Student Success team members in tracking and evaluating student performance and referral data.

    + Assist with student success events/activities, as well providing support for campus outreach events/activities.

    Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 lbs and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

     

    Job Conditions: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

    + At least one (1) year of experience in academic services, student support services, case management or related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

    + Two (2) years of professional experience in academic support, academic advising, or a student services area in higher education setting.

    + Familiarity with Banner, Degreeworks, Navigate, or experience with similar advising and student record systems.

    Salary $37,330 - $48,529
