This is is a part-time position averaging 20 hours a week. Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position.
**Job Summary:** As the Interagency Liaison, you will coordinate and manage complex grant proposals while serving as the primary contact between program staff, granting agencies, the U.S. Forest Service, and all Department of the Interior agencies. Additionally, you will develop and administer comprehensive training programs for staff within the Natural Resources and Land Management Department, with a focus on ensuring safety and mitigating potential risks or legal concerns. You will report to the Senior Director of Natural Resources.
Primary Tasks:
1. Coordinate the planning and preparation of complex grant proposals for assigned departments; provide expert guidance and assistance in the interpretation of funding agency regulations and requirements.
2. Serves as liaison between program staff and granting agencies and collaborates with Finance Accounting in the budgeting and preparation of grant proposals; research agency and tribal requirements and prepares comprehensive budget justifications.
3. Analyze source materials and accurately interpret data. Write, edit, and finalize funding application narratives.
4. Perform program evaluations and summary reports on grant program performance and outcomes for senior leadership.
5. Monitors the administration of post-award grants to ensure that budgeting and administrative policies, procedures, and agency requirements are followed.
6. Serve as a Liaison with the U.S. Forest Service and all Department of the Interior Agencies, organizations, vendors and universities to design and implement collaborative projects both in training and implementation of mutually beneficial endeavors.
7. Develop and implement agreements, contracts and budgets with cooperating entities.
8. Research, plan, design, develop and facilitate associate trainings programs, and conferences (face-to-face, on-line) for associates and management, including Leadership Programs in collaboration with Federal Agencies, vendors, and other stakeholders.
9. Test and evaluate new technology as it applies to Natural Resource management, Wildland fire suppression, and Hazardous Fuels reduction
10. You will perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree and three (3) year’s training experience focused on adult learning OR;
* Seven (7) years of relevant experience in lieu of education
* Two (2) years’ experience in management position
* Knowledge of adult learning and curriculum development, focusing on Competency-based Training.
* Solid project management skills, computer competence, and the ability to use multi-media effectively. Should possess a wide degree of creativity, writing proficiency, and visual graphics design ability.
* Knowledge of developing large-scale, management and leadership training initiatives.
