    Responsible for performing a variety of duties to protect and enforce the company’s Physical Security and Workplace Safety and Health Programs.

     

    + Coordinates the development and implementation of the Physical Security and Workplace Safety and Health Programs, Policies and Guidelines to comply with all relevant regulatory guidance including Section 3 of the Bank Protection Act of 1968 -12 U.S.C. 1882 (BPA) and Section 208.61 Subpart F of Regulation H and the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 - Public Law 91-596, 84 Statute 1590.

    + Prepares, maintains, and updates the company’s Physical Security and Workplace Safety and Health Policies as appropriate. Creates and maintains other related policy documents and procedures as necessary. Enforces established policies and guidelines. Identifies company training needs, creates any required curriculum, and conducts ongoing staff training for physical security and workplace safety and health programs, equipment, and protocols. (including alarms, video surveillance, motion detectors, proximity card/door lock system, etc.)

    + Monitors day-to-day operations relating to the physical security of the Company’s assets including all offices and branch locations. Coordinates reviews/updates of various items relating to CCTC Emergency Planning & Response. Acts as a liaison with law enforcement on security related issues.

    + Works with vendors for security and life safety related items, prepares budgets for security and life safety equipment and operations. Serves as a resource for any related projects.

    + Analyzes and evaluates security operations identifying risks/opportunities for improvement through auditing, review, or assessment. Communicates security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols. Participates in annual budgeting process in conjunction with management.

    + Monitors, reviews, and verifies the deployment and/or management of all physical security systems and their corresponding or associated software/hardware. Monitors the testing of security devices on a scheduled basis to ensure compliance with regulations and policy.

    + Conducts regular security audits, reviewing and updating security policies, and coordinating with law enforcement agencies. Serving as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of security incidents. Responsible for disseminating security alerts.

    + Coordinates between the bank's various departments, branches, and external security agencies. Ensures security policies and procedures are consistently applied across all locations, promoting a unified and cohesive security strategy.

    + Reports to the appropriate Board Committee at least annually on security and workplace safety and health related issues, presents policy for board approval.

    + Conforms to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + Associates Degree or equivalent required; Experience developing and administering a security and workplace safety and health program in a regulated and audited environment is preferred.

    + Minimum of 5 years experience in related position required.

    + Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or comparable certification preferred.

    + Proficient reading, writing and grammar skills; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Proficient computer skills; Demonstrated knowledge of system security architectures and emerging technologies; Comprehensive knowledge of the company’s products, services, regulations, operating policies, and procedures; interpersonal skills in dealing with clients, all levels of management and Board members.

    + Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    + Ability to travel, valid Driver’s License required.

     

    Salary Range $60,000 to $86,000 Annually

     

    Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education and, where applicable, licenses or certifications obtained.
