    WPHL-TV is hiring!

     

    WPHL-TV/CW is hiring a creative and motivated lifestyle producer for a daily hour-long lifestyle show launching in Philadelphia this fall.

     

    The show will highlight local businesses and events happening throughout the Delaware Valley to help promote our brand – We Are Philadelphia.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Serve as daily producer for a community-focused lifestyle show

    + Organize show content in a cohesive sequence to engage and grow audience

    + Book and schedule live and pre-taped in-studio interviews and on-location segments

    + Assists in writing, researching, and coordinating content on entertainment and culture news stories for on-air and web

    + Work closely with the Executive Producer/Co-host and Co-host/Reporter to pitch content and segment ideas

    + Work closely with sales & marketing to integrate & schedule sponsored client segments

    + Assist Executive Producer/Host with Production and Creative Services teams on taping schedules (in studio and remote production) and live show management

    + Actively participate in daily content meetings

    + Line Producer/booth an hour-long live show Monday through Friday.

    + Assist with running the Teleprompter during live and pre-recorded segments, as needed

    + Build relationships with guests, clients, community members, celebrities, and show contributors.

    + Other duties as assigned by Creative Services Director.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

    + Minimum 2 years’ experience producing a live lifestyle or variety show

    + Must have strong organization and communication skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task

    + Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work alone and as part of a team

    + Ability to meet tight deadlines

    + Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere.

    + Knowledge of ENPS

    + Knowledge of Wordpress is a plus

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Software, especially Outlook and Microsoft Word

    + Social media fluency
