ABOUT YOU

As Cash Applications Specialist, you will join a team of talented and dynamic financial professionals who share a passion for solving problems and providing exceptional customer service to Massport’s stakeholders. Attention to detail and inquisitiveness will be your superpower, as you exhibit a keen eye for researching and resolving customer account balances. Collaboration will be at the heart of your success, as you engage with cross-functional teams to foster a cohesive and collaborative work environment. Your commitment to maintain the accuracy of the Authority's accounts receivable will be pivotal, as you play a crucial role in serving our customers and ensuring the integrity of our financial statements.

What you will do:

+ Ensure the integrity of financial records by diligently following established procedures and guaranteeing accurate accounts receivable balances.

+ Resolve payment discrepancies for seamless transactions, proactively addressing and resolving payment issues to ensure smooth financial operations.

+ Uphold data accuracy and trust by meticulously verifying completeness and accuracy of new customer set up requests, enabling us to create error-free customer accounts in the financial record keeping system.

WHAT YOU OFFER

+ Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

+ 1-3 years’ experience in an accounting environment.

+ Ability to multitask, work independently and contribute to broader team objectives.
