Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lighting Analyst with strong sales experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in lighting technologies and customer account management, along with a proven track record in sales across various industries. This role requires a passion for improving lighting systems and solutions while effectively driving sales performance. As a Lighting Analyst, you will work under the direct leadership of the Lighting Services Sales Supervisor, contributing to the achievement of sales goals and the design of customer-driven lighting systems. Your ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions will be key to your success in this role, regardless of your prior industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze lighting systems and solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
Meet or exceed sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
Evaluate customer needs and provide recommendations for custom lighting solutions.
Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Assist in the development and implementation of lighting projects.
Work closely with the Lighting Services Sales Supervisor to ensure alignment with sales strategies and customer value initiatives.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Design, construct, and maintain street and area lighting systems, including distribution system components and operation
Ensure lighting contractor is adhering to current contract requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated “face to face” selling experience and proven sales results preferred.
Exceptional communicator, accomplished problem solver, skilled negotiator, and strategic thinker.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience in customer account management or a similar role.
Experience in project management
Experience in utility construction (NEC, NESC)
Experience working with municipal customers desired.
Proficiency in design tools and Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of energy efficiency standards and regulations is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is a plus
