    What You Will Do

     

    The Manager will be responsible for aiding in all areas of the local US. This role will be involved in the marketing process, working closely with the Marketing team, and various cross functional teams, on implementing, executing and evaluating product launches and 360 go to market strategies.

    This would include, but would not be limited to, the following accountabilities:

    Key Accountabilities

    + Work with Global marketing team to implement domestic applications of brand strategy

    + Develop forecast proposals for new products/sku’s as well as revised forecasts for existing businesses affected by launch

    + Prepare and/or review MD’s for all necessary information, maintain accurate files on ongoing projects, keep abreast of all timetables for new product launches and ensure that deadlines are met in a timely manner; identify potential problems

    + Work closely with Supply teams to ensure appropriate stock levels to support the business

    + Create recommendation for products discontinuation, reviewing obsolete inventory levels, and lost revenue implications

    + Work closely with sales team/all necessary departments to assist in development of all in-store events, outlining objectives and budgets

    + For new launches, issue monthly launch recaps

    + Initiate new Marketing proposals and drive development with Creative group

    + Ensure that Creative is aware of all copy/package direction, providing components, working copy, etc. – brief 360 merchandising updates focusing on marketing objectives

    + Review all copy submissions

    + Ensure art mechanicals are accurate for content, and that they are released on time

    + Work closely with content and A&I teams to manage all media content needs (assets + matrix) and ensure they are released on time for both pure and retailer plans.

    + Oversee the strategy, planning and implementation of all sampling programs for the fragrance category including sampling forecasting and management and blow-in and print magazine production.

    + Closely track monthly E&O reports and implement relevant business activation plans to address it.

    + Work with Director/VP to recommend strategic retail pricing for new products; recommend price increases for existing products based on competitive landscape.

    + Market visits on an ongoing basis

     

    Required Competencies and Interpersonal Skills

     

    + 4-7 years of relevant experience

    + Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint

    + Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

    + Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a strategic thinker with strong time management and prioritization skills

    + Able to prioritize and manage time effectively, and to balance competing demands, and priorities in a very fast-paced environment

    + Strong commercial/analytical skills

    + Strong inter-personal, relationship building/management, and peer management talents are critical.

    + Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills.

    + Communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to handle multiple and diverse tasks is a must.

    + Financial / analytical experience including sales forecasting, analysis of business, profit, budget management.

    + Ability to work in a very hands on, entrepreneurial environment.

    + Ability to influence others and maintaining a positive attitude, and always taking initiative and being proactive.

    + Understanding of ROI analysis, metrics and program/budget forecasting.

     

    Salary Range: $90,200-128,500 + Benefits
