    About the Position

     

    The Manager of Clinical Pastoral Education requires a high degree of professional competence in the provision of spiritual care, provides spiritual care to residents, family and team members of Goodwin Living, and is responsible for administrative tasks to support the CPE program. While the manager of CPE is also a Certified Educator Candidate, they will be an active participant in supervision with their ACPE National Faculty member and in CEC peer groups for training and supervision while working towards full certification as a Certified Educator with ACPE.

    Key Duties

    + Demonstrate competencies in provision of professional spiritual care, and follow the code of ethics as stated in ACPE, APC and Goodwin Living related policies on confidentiality and conduct.

    + Receive applications and be the first point of contact for Goodwin Living CPE.

    + Process application fees, tuition and clinical placement fees

    + Arrange all Graduation events – catering, invitations, transportation, coordinating with campus leadership.

    + Teach CPE units as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    + Master of Divinity from an Accredited Seminary.

    + Certified Educator Candidate or Certified Educator in the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE).

    + Must have a minimum of three years of professional spiritual care experience.

    + Must demonstrate social skills and communication skills to be able to engage in diverse populations.

    + Must be able to relate to seniors who are suffering chronic physical, psychological and spiritual pain.
