We are seeking a skilled and analytical Programmer Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Poughkeepsie, NY. As the Programmer Analyst, you will play a vital role in developing and supporting internal applications and reporting systems. You'll work closely with departments across the organization to optimize workflows, improve system functionality, and ensure smooth, secure operations. This is a highly visible position that combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of business processes. Programmer Analyst Responsibilities: -Develop, document, and maintain custom programs and reports using tools such as Power On, Powerframe, Symform PDF, Crystal Reports, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Powershell, and HTML5. -Collaborate with departments to understand operational needs and develop technology-driven solutions. -Assist in software implementation, including conceptual design, testing, documentation, and deployment. -Troubleshoot existing programs and automate processes to enhance internal efficiencies. -Participate in cross-functional project teams and provide end-user support. Programmer Analyst Qualifications: -3+ years of programming or systems analysis experience, preferably in a financial services or credit union environment. -Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent specialized training required. -Experience with Jack Henry Symitar and Power On scripting is desirable. -Solid understanding of JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and process automation tools. -Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
