We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.

Performance Objectives

+ Coordinates accounting functions and programs.

+ Prepares financial analyses and reports.

+ Prepare cash tax payment forecasts.

+ Assists with preparing and monitoring budgets.

+ Maintains and reconciles balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

+ Assists with annual audit preparations.

+ Investigates and resolves audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.

+ Prepares federal, state, local, and special tax returns; Along with maintenance of tax records in a organized manner.

+ Technical accounting including but not limited to adoption of new accounting standards, ASC 606, ASC 842 and ability to research accounting guidance.

+ Ability to prepare accounting memos in accordance GAAP requirements.

+ Ability to work with multi-currency entities and ability to translate cross-currency payments (i.e. USD payments made to CAD entities/jurisdictions).

+ Intercompany activity reconciliations and analysis for internal tracking and tax implications.

+ Contributes to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.

+ Ability to work and comply with internal SOX related requirements.

+ Trains teammates on processes and functions within the department.

+ Performs other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

Competitive Candidate Profile

+ Bachelor's degree from a three or four-year college or university

+ 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.

+ CPA, or on CPA track, preferred but not required.

+ Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

+ Works independently with general supervision.

+ Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

+ May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

+ Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.

+ Advanced financial analysis skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

+ Strong communications skills and ability to work virtually with coworkers around the globe.
