Seattle Times Media Solutions is looking for an experienced Campaign Specialist of Paid Social Advertising to join our team. As a Campaign Specialist, you will be responsible for partnering with internal teams to plan, manage, and execute digital marketing strategies across paid social channels for numerous advertisers of varying sizes and verticals. The ideal candidate will need the ability to think creatively, contribute innovative ideas and have a passion for digital marketing.
Responsibilities:
+ Management of paid social campaigns across multiple social media channels, including the campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and overall optimization.
+ Generate original and innovative creative strategy for social channels, based on client needs, current trends, consumer insights and analytics.
+ Analyze campaign performance, identify trends and suggest opportunities for improvement as well as provide consistent performance updates to internal team members.
+ Management of paid social budget allocations and forecasts, while consistently reporting on spend and performance.
+ Develop compelling ad copy that is consistent with the advertiser’s brand messaging and guidelines.
+ Maintain a deep understanding of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter paid advertising capabilities and how to leverage to best benefit advertisers.
+ Liaise between the campaign management team and other key internal groups on the account.
+ Developing and implementing testing strategies to increase advertising efficiency.
+ Track and monitor social media analytics and translate data and performance to optimize content.
Essential Skills:
+ Working knowledge and mastery of campaign setup, management strategies and optimization techniques without the aid of 3rd party tools and/or automated software.
+ Ability to accurately analyze large amounts of data across multiple platforms and data sources to provide both summary level and detailed explanations of campaign performance as well as utilize this data to provide effective recommendations for improvement and/or continued success.
+ Understanding of various KPI’s and targets like CPA/CPL/ROAS/ROI/LTV.
+ Mastery of conversion tracking setup including pixel creation and implementation on websites both manually and via Google Tag Manager.
+ Proven ability to A/B test ads & landing pages and key factors in optimization.
+ Mastery of Google Analytics goal setup as well as advanced knowledge of metrics and dimensions, cross domain tracking solutions, event tracking and goal setup for all conversion goal types.
+ Ability and desire to work at both the strategic and tactical levels, with proven success at developing integrated digital campaigns from strategy through execution.
+ Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager setup and implementation, as well as, tag and trigger setup and management.
+ Up to speed on major industry trends, best practices and online tools
+ Possess critical strategic thinking and ability to readily identify obstacles and offer solutions.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Digitally savvy, with specific proficiency at Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
+ Enthusiasm for working as a team; ability to establish good rapport with colleagues.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
+ Education: BA / BS degree preferred; emphasis in business, marketing or communications.
+ Certifications: Facebook Blueprint Certification in good standing.
+ Experience: 5+ years paid social engine marketing experience managing large-scale accounts. Agency experience a plus.
+ Experience training teams on campaign strategies and best practices.
+ A consistent record of leading projects from conception through completion.
Work Location: This is a hybrid role requiring some work in our Seattle office.
Compensation: The full salary range for this position is $67,100 to $92,200. We typically pay between $61,100 to $83,900, depending on experience and qualifications.
