    Join Lockheed Martin’s Space is seeking a Senior RF Engineer who will serve as a key contributor to our cutting\-edge Active Electronically Scanned Array \(AESA\) programs\.

     

    As a member of the RF Talent Center, you will play a critical role in the design and development of custom Radio Frequency \(RF\) Circuit Card Assemblies \(CCAs\)\. Your responsibilities will span schematic design, part placement, layout, high\-frequency modeling, and the release of detailed engineering drawings\.

     

    Success in this role requires a strong understanding of system and board level requirements and the ability to translate those into reliable, high\-performance RF hardware\.

     

    This position involves close collaboration with multi\-disciplinary teams to ensure design closure and product integrity\. You will help advance our mission by developing high\-reliability RF solutions that operate in the most demanding environments—from deep space to satellite constellations in low Earth orbit\. You will contribute not only as a designer but also as a technical communicator, supporting design reviews and mentoring junior engineers\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Skill Requirements:

    •Demonstrated experience creating PCB stackups and a strong understanding of RF PCB fabrication processes\.

    •Proficiency in high\-frequency 3D modeling using tools such as Ansys HFSS or Dassault CST, specifically for simulating RF vertical transitions and complex RF structures\.

    •Hands\-on experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Siemens Xpedition\.

    •Strong background in RF circuit design, including component selection and simulation using SPICE\-based tools\.

    •Proven ability to collaborate with cross\-functional engineering teams, including Power, Digital, Mechanical, Survivability, and Component Engineering, to ensure design completeness and compliance\.

    •Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing high\-quality technical documentation\.

    •Experience generating engineering drawings, including PCB and CCA fabrication and assembly drawings\.

    •Understanding of RF specification flowdown and its impact on board\-level design requirements\.

    Security Clearance / Work Authorization:

    • To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U\.S\. Citizen\.

    Desired Skills:

    •Ability to clearly present complex technical content in both written and verbal formats to internal stakeholders and technical review teams\.

    •Hands\-on experience with RF testing and troubleshooting in lab environments\.

    •Familiarity with Power Integrity \(PI\) and Signal Integrity \(SI\) analysis tools and methods\.

    •Experience mentoring or training junior engineers, fostering knowledge transfer and team capability development\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off

    **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 \- $171,235\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\.

    **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\.

     

    \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\.

     

    This position is incentive plan eligible\.
