+ POSITION SUMMARY
+ Reports To:
+ Director of Pharmacy
+ Summary:
+
+ Primarily responsible for handling prescriptions and physician orders for medications. Wi ll be cross-trained in outpatient pharmacy, inpatient pharmacy, and pharmacist-managed anti-co agulation clinic. He/she must check for drug interactions, allergies, and correct dosages. Emp loyee must also prepare intravenous fluid mixtures. Employee must have detailed knowledge of medications and medical terminology. Employee normally perfo rms the duty assignments with broad parameters defined by general organizational regulations and procedures. Total end results determine job performance.

+ Work Schedule:
+ Must be able to work non-standard hours. Must be able to receive calls at home.

+ SKILLS & ABILITIES
+ Education
+ Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy & Master's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required.
+ Experience
+ None
+ Computer Skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
+ Must exhibit basic computer knowledge
+ Certificates & Licenses
+ Must have a valid Indiana pharmacist's license, or eligible within 60 days of hire.
+ Other Requirements
+ This position requires frequent standing and use of hands and fingers.
