    The Supervisor, Cargo Specialty Product is part of the Cargo Specialty Product team within our Cargo Division and helps lead the team responsible for developing, analyzing, forecasting, and executing the division’s customer products and services. In addition to managing the full product lifecycle, the team explores and experiments with new ideas and extensions to ensure offerings continue to evolve with customer expectations.

    + Create, own and maintain the overall Cargo Product roadmap.

    + Map out product landscape to identify areas for improvement, understand market needs and drive product strategy and plans consistent with the division’s business plan and strategy.

    + Lead the cross-functional implementation plan and subsequent execution of the re-launch of existing products and/or launch of new products. Recommend pricing strategies and forecast revenue opportunities

    + Lead the product management of all efforts by overseeing the management of the product portfolio, working with IT and Finance on budget planning and prioritization across the portfolio of associated projects, lead all tracking, status updates, and provide visibility on the overall progress and issues to all levels of stakeholders, internal and external

    + Lead a team of subject matter experts and product owners responsible for the development and/or redesign of products and product positioning to differentiate key value attributes, drive broader usage of all core products, and drive increased revenue.

    + Partner with the Cargo marketing team to clearly communicate attributes and value proposition to both internal sales/operations employees as well as external customers, and also help develop sales tools that support selling. Help develop positioning and craft messaging for all core products

    + Partner with the Cargo operations and sales teams to ensure a successful implementation and effective business transformation of products, by understanding current product, service and system limitations, and designing products for the long term/future state.

    + Use network and station profitability data to identify opportunities for revenue growth

    + Coach all team members and ensure effective Product Management and strategic approach across the product Portfolio

    + Competitive analysis of AA/OA products; develop expertise of customers and valued product attributes, as well as competitive offerings including air, sea and ground freight

    + Understand customer problems and pain points and work to eliminate them.

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

    + Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent training/experience

    + 4 years of relevant experience

    + Strong aptitude for creative problem solving and for synthesizing large volumes of detailed information into a concise presentation.

    + Ability to make independent decisions as well as the ability to prioritize tasks, to work well with minimal supervision, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    + Carefully and independently consider decisions to enable best outcomes for the cargo division and the airline
