**This position is to** serve as the asset and inventory coordinator, including performing physical inventory to verify division assets; assist the purchasing card coordinator in monitoring division purchasing card purchases, process purchase orders, and process payroll.
Examples of job duties include:
+ Serve as thedivision'sasset andinventorycoordinator

+ Creating purchase orders and provide guidance and assistance to other division staff regarding purchase orders.
+ Assist Facilities Management'spurchasing card coordinator
+ Provide backup support to Accounting Unit positions as assigned.
+ Provide support for special projects.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Customer service skills and independent judgement sufficient to provide prompt, consistent, courteous and accurate information via email, phone, in person and through public presentations.
+ Ability to effectively communicate and elicit information with tact and diplomacy in difficult situations without needing assistance in most instances.
+ Math skills sufficient to calculate, review and reconcile financial data and balance accounts.
+ Data entry skills sufficient to create, enter, and process data and information records accurately with minimal oversight.
+ Two or more years of similar office experience in banking, accounting, finance, or related field.
+ Ability to follow procedures and written instructions and independently fulfill work assignments with accurate results.
+ Must have or have the ability to acquire a Minnesota driver’s license within 60 days.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Knowledge and experience working in SWIFT, SEMA4, or other large accounting system.
+ Knowledge and experience reconciling Bank Statements
+ Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) sufficient to analyze, interpret, and prepare financial information, records, and reports.
+ Knowledge Using spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to enter, compile, store, and retrieve data.
+ Word processing skills to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports.
+ Must be able to fulfill work assignments independently as well as successfully work as part of a team.
