    Primary Function

     

    Based at our Ashland City, Tennessee location, theFacilities Engineerwill manage maintenance of the campus buildings and grounds including improvement and replacement projects. Buildings include our North American Water Heating Headquarters office; a 1 million plus sq ft residential water heater manufacturing facility; and our Customer Care office.

    Responsibilities

    + Daily management of campus infrastructure maintenance including utilities

    + Evaluate and provide recommendations for campus infrastructure and utilities improvement/replacement projects

    + Manage the cost, schedule, resources, and time needed to complete projects

    + Facilitate team/contractor activities and carry out necessary functions while providing management with feedback and status reports to ensure that critical decisions are made in a suitable and timely manner

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline

    + 5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment

    + Experience in the following:

    + Building/Plant power infrastructure - Managing Electrical contractors

    + Roof replacements

    + Parking lot maintenance

    + Office remodels, additions, repairs

    + Building/Plant additions

    + Building/Plant/Bathroom repairs/remodels including structural repairs

    + HVAC replacements

    + Software proficiency: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite

    + Must have excellent verbal, written, presentation, organizational skills, and attention to details

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experienced in managing infrastructure demo and installation

    + Utility service/piping maintenance (gas, water, sewage, electrical, fire protection sprinkler) above or below ground

    + Software proficiency: SolidWorks, SAP
