**Boeing Defense, Space, and Security** (BDS) is seeking a **Senior (Level 5) Procurement Agent** to join our **Air Dominance Proprietary 1 Supply Chain** team in **Berkeley, MO** .
The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team focused on building next generation, state-of-the-art capability while also working to integrate program, customer and product, strategies into the procurement process, in an effort to drive successful execution of the Program.
The individual will support supply chain strategy development while working to understand the inter-relationships between subcomponents of systems and plans as well as their overall impact on the Supply Chain and Program. Collaboration with Engineering, Finance, and other Program personnel will be required to support strategic initiatives, mitigate risk, identify process improvements, and engage in many other innovative activities in support of the Program.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.
+ Develops and executes company strategic business goals and objectives.
+ Consults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies.
+ Formalizes procurement requirements with customers and leads the supplier negotiation process.
+ Prepares and executes negotiated documents.
+ Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
+ Manages contract terminations.
+ Develops organization and company improvement plans.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ More than 7 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
+ More than 7 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
+ More than 7 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
+ More than 10 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
+ More than 10 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts
+ Active US Secret Clearance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $117,300 - $144,900 USD

Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
