• Staff Accountant

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Broomfield, CO)


    Description

    We are on the lookout for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Broomfield. You will be a crucial part of our team, handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. This role will report to the Controller and offers opportunity for growth!

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions

    • Conduct daily billing and collection activities for Accounts Receivable

    • Record Accounts Payable bills for all subsidiaries

    • Manage cash receipts including scanning, depositing, and applying payments

    • Prepare and enter journal entries related to Accounts Payable/Receivable, including intercompany entries

    • Prepare bank reconciliations

    • Assist with the allocation and coding of expense reporting

    • Aid in the month-end closing process

    • Collect, open, scan, and organize mail

    • Assist with yearly financial audits and ad hoc projects.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.

    • Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Strong understanding and experience with General Ledger management, including maintaining chart of accounts and preparing financial statements.

    • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment scheduling.

    • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including billing, collection, and customer account reconciliation.
